या प्रसंगी डॉ. संतोष चव्हाण, यांनी हळद लागवडीतील एकात्मिक अन्नद्रव्य व्यवस्थापन याचे महत्त्व स्पष्ट केले. त्यांनी सांगितले की सूक्ष्मअन्नद्रव्यांच्या फवारण्या केल्याने हळदीच्या कंदाची गुणवत्ता सुधारते, उत्पादन वाढते तसेच सूक्ष्मअन्नद्रव्यांच्या कमतरता दूर करण्यास मदत होते. डॉ. प्रविण चव्हाण, विषय तज्ञ (कृषि विस्तार) यांनी शेतकऱ्यांशी संवाद साधून हळद लागवडीत येणाऱ्या सध्याच्या अडचणी तसेच दत्तक गावात राबविण्यात येणाऱ्या भविष्यातील विस्तार उपक्रमांबाबत चर्चा केली. स्वच्छता अॅक्शन प्लॅन अंतर्गत त्यांनी शेतकऱ्यांना वर्मी-कंपोस्ट बेडचे वाटप केले. कार्यक्रमादरम्यान शेतकऱ्यांनी प्रात्यक्षिक प्लॉटला भेट देऊन सूक्ष्मअन्नद्रव्य वापराचे प्रत्यक्ष परिणाम पाहिले. या प्रक्षेत्र दिनामध्ये 20 हळद उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांनी सक्रिय सहभाग नोंदविला. #हळद #प्रक्षेत्रदिन #कृषिविज्ञानकेंद्रसगरोळी #सूक्ष्मअन्नद्रव्य #शेतकरी #ढोलउमरी #कृषी #Turmeric #agriculture

Field Day on Use of Turmeric Special Micronutrient in Turmeric Conducted at Dholumri

Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli organized a Field Day on “Use of Turmeric Special Micronutrient in Turmeric” at Dholumri, Taluka Umri, on 11th November 2025.

On this occasion, Dr. Santosh Chavan, Subject Matter Specialist (Horticulture), emphasized the importance of Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) in turmeric cultivation. He explained that the application of micronutrient sprays is essential for improving rhizome quality, enhancing yield, and overcoming micronutrient deficiencies in plants.

Dr. Pravin Chavan, Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension), interacted with farmers to discuss current issues in turmeric cultivation and future extension activities planned in the adopted village. As part of the Swcchata Action Plan, he also distributed Vermicompost bed to participating farmers.

During the event, farmers visited the demonstration plot to observe the practical results of micronutrient application. A total of 20 turmeric growers actively participated in the program.
