Objectives –
- To scout & document the
grassroots innovation, idea, agriculture practices, agriculture machineries and
plant varieties for bi-annual competition of National Innovation Foundation.
- Verification and detail
documentation of explored entries documented in previous competitions of NIF from
Nanded District
- Documentation of innovative
practices of local community
Outcomes –
- · A valuable
and holistic documentation on different innovations done by farmers, students
etc.
- · A valuable
and holistic documentation on different innovations done by mechanics /rural
youth
- · A valuable
and holistic documentation on traditional knowledge on different medicinal
plants use by Farmer groups of Maharashtra.
- · Identification of constraints affecting the ecology of the medicinal plants
- · Identification
of those gaps hindering the critical transfer of this traditional knowledge
from one generation to the other.
- · Priority
list of environmental issues affecting this traditional knowledge from
hindering the; suggestive measures for combating those issues and preservation of these indigenous knowledge and Intellectual Property Right (IPR).
