संस्कृति संवर्धन मंडळ संचालित कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र, सगरोळी (जि. नांदेड) येथे २३ जून २०२६ रोजी “सोया संजीवनी तंत्रज्ञान : २०-२२ क्विंटल उत्पादनाचे लक्ष्य” या विषयावर एकदिवसीय विशेष कार्यशाळेचे यशस्वी आयोजन करण्यात आले.
प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक म्हणून डॉ. बाळकृष्ण जमदग्नी (निवृत्त प्रमुख शास्त्रज्ञ, कडधान्य संशोधन प्रकल्प, महात्मा फुले कृषी विद्यापीठ, राहुरी) तसेच डॉ. बी. पी. पाटील (निवृत्त विभाग प्रमुख, कृषी विद्या विभाग, डॉ. बाळासाहेब सावंत कोकण कृषी विद्यापीठ, दापोली) यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले. प्रमुख उपस्थिती म्हणून डॉ. विजयकुमार बडे (निवृत्त डीन, कृषी अभियांत्रिकी) व प्रगतशील शेतकरी श्री. दीपक वांगीकर उपस्थित होते. सध्याच्या बदलत्या हवामान परिस्थितीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर संपूर्ण कार्यशाळेमध्ये सखोल चर्चा व मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले. कमी पाऊस, अनियमित पर्जन्यमान आणि पावसाचा ताण असतानाही सोयाबीन पिकाचे उत्पादन जास्तीत जास्त कसे मिळवता येईल, यासाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या आधुनिक व शास्त्रशुद्ध तंत्रज्ञानाची माहिती तज्ज्ञांनी दिली. बियाण्यांची निवड, बीजप्रक्रिया, योग्य पेरणी कालावधी, खत व्यवस्थापन, तण व कीड-रोग नियंत्रण, जलसंवर्धन, हवामानानुरूप पीक व्यवस्थापन तसेच काढणीपर्यंतचे संपूर्ण नियोजन याविषयी सविस्तर मार्गदर्शन करण्यात आले. हवामानातील बदलांचा परिणाम कमी करून अधिक उत्पादन मिळविण्यासाठी कोणती उपाययोजना करावी यावर उपस्थित शेतकऱ्यांनी तज्ज्ञांशी संवाद साधून विविध प्रश्नांचे निरसन करून घेतले.
महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कारांसाठी निवड झाल्याबद्दल केव्हीकेचे संपर्क शेतकरी श्री. दिगंबर खपाटे (युवा शेतकरी पुरस्कार) आणि श्री. शिरगिरे (वसंतराव नाईक शेतीनिष्ठ पुरस्कार) यांचा शास्त्रज्ञांच्या हस्ते विशेष सत्कार करण्यात आला.

A one-day special workshop on “Soya Sanjeevani Technology: Targeting 20–22 Quintals Yield” was successfully organized on 23 June 2026 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Sagroli, Nanded-II, under the aegis of
Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal. The programme was chaired by Shri Pramod Deshmukh, Chairman, Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, Sagroli. Renowned agricultural scientists
Dr. Balkrishna Jamadagni, former Principal Scientist, Pulses Research Project,
Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, and Dr. B. P. Patil, former Head, Department of Agronomy,
Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, served as the chief resource persons. The programme was also graced by Dr. Vijaykumar Bade, former Dean (Agricultural Engineering), and progressive farmer Shri Deepak Vangikar.
A special felicitation ceremony was conducted during the workshop to honour two progressive and knowledgeable farmers closely associated with KVK Sagroli—Shri Digambar Khapate of Bannali village and Shri Shirgire of Badur village—for their selection for the prestigious Young Farmer Award and
Vasantrao Naik Shetinishtha Award, respectively, conferred by the Department of Agriculture, Government of Maharashtra. The awards were presented by the distinguished scientists, creating an atmosphere of pride and motivation among the participating farmers.
The workshop focused on addressing the challenges posed by the changing climate and erratic rainfall patterns. Experts provided detailed guidance on scientific and climate-resilient soybean production technologies to achieve higher productivity even under conditions of low rainfall and moisture stress. Comprehensive discussions were held on all critical aspects of soybean cultivation, including seed selection, seed treatment, optimum sowing practices, nutrient management, weed and pest control, moisture conservation techniques, climate-smart crop management, and post-harvest planning. The scientists emphasized the importance of proper planning from seed treatment to harvesting in order to maximize soybean yields and profitability.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of progressive and inquisitive farmers from different parts of the district. The interactive sessions enabled farmers to discuss their field-level challenges and receive practical solutions from the experts. Participants
highly appreciated the valuable technical guidance provided during the workshop. The programme once again highlighted KVK Sagroli’s commitment to disseminating need-based, climate-resilient agricultural technologies and strengthening the knowledge and skills of the farming community.
